Cookies

Cookies and similar technologies

Opendex uses cookies and similar technologies only where needed to run the site securely, keep you signed in, and understand aggregate interest in public event pages. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural marketing cookies on the app.

Strictly necessary (session and auth)

When you log in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets first-party cookies so your session persists across pages. These are essential: without them you cannot stay signed in to the dashboard, applications, or chat. Related security cookies may be used to prevent abuse. You cannot turn these off without losing logged-in functionality.

Local storage (anonymous event views)

On public event pages we may record an aggregated view count using a random identifier stored in your browser's local storage (not a marketing cookie). That id is not your name or email; it helps deduplicate repeat visits for statistics. If you block storage, counts may be less accurate; the page still works.

Analytics and embedded media

We do not load Google Analytics or similar trackers by default on the member platform. If we add optional analytics in the future, we will list them here and, where required, ask for consent before non-essential scripts run. Embedded players (for example mix links) may set their own cookies when you interact with them; those services have their own policies.

Your choices

You can clear cookies and site data from your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out and remove stored preferences or anonymous ids until new ones are created. For how personal data is processed beyond storage, see our Privacy policy.
